LET’S GO GIANTS!

Tonight is game 1 of the 2010 World Series, with our very own San Francisco Giants squaring off against the Texas Rangers for the World Series Championship!

The entire city is buzzing and in the spirit; the Ferry Building had a morning orange glow, Giants caps, Wilson beards and panda hats are staple clothing attire and to top it off one of my coworkers is wearing a Posey jersey over his polo shirt and dress pants.

It’s going to be a very crowded couple days for the commute! So for those coming to watch the game from Alameda or Oakland, skip the madness of driving and take the Alameda/Oakland direct ferry game service! It’s a perfect way to miss the heavy traffic and allow you to have that extra game beer. The ferry departs Oakland at 3:00pm and departs Alameda at 3:20pm. For return service, the ferry departs AT&T Park 20 minutes after the last out or whenever the game ends (including any extra innings).

The first pitch is at 4:57pm, so get off work early to help cheer our team to victory!

LET’S GO GIANTS!!!  FEAR THE BEARD!!!
